Dave’s dissertation builds from the conclusion of Realest thesis. Ennis embarks on an academic sequel to intertwine narratives of outer and introspection. Objective: convert sexual energy into celibate means of genuine connection. With Dave Chappelle top of mind, she births an alter-ego named 🎾ㅃ (tennisballbb).

🎾ㅃ THE #FOODPORNSTAR: a spicy digital dominatrix who thrives on leaning into discomfort. Amazing self-lover. She is discovered posting offbeat improv called Feet Fucking Food which evolves into multiple seasons, movie with original soundtrack and sequel in the form of a touring comedy special. During season 3 she marries film props with upcycled items from her “other life” into interactive 5ensory 5culptures.

Boundaries blur.

🎾ㅃ is the first NFT artist and only #FOODPORNSTAR published in the iconic Food & Beverage Magazine. She makes her legacy media debut on April 20, 2021. Recipe for Self-Lovers feetures an original Korean dessert developed with renowned chef Dave Gunawan. Her decadent 35mm spread ends with a QR code leading to Going Through Glory–temporary installation that can only be described as digital architectural hilarity. 3D scans of Mike Reesé’s acrylic flowers are lovingly planted around the glorious structure. Scale matters. In this moment, Ennis fulfills another personal fantasy: collaborating with one of her favorite contemporary artists.

Ennis uses 🎾ㅃ for personal development through method acting and BDSM. The character’s story arc is a reflection of shuttling behaviors between egos. Personal identity is questioned in depth. She flirts heavily with writing a tragic death from the beginning.
