Louis Vuitton Speedy and Wallet repurposed as a rare participatory piece. Denotes joy, family. Created over a span of 20 years starting approximately 2006/07. Use of paint gestures to Murakami and Kusama, two of my earliest influences. This piece draws controversy from unknowing fashionistas who claim “it’s just an overpriced bag.” Those more familiar with my work understand the intentional soft blur of casual consumerism with storytelling.
