Realest is a mixed-media coming of age story set in the music and entertainment industry. An independent thesis merging traditional academic methodology with contemporary art outputs. Ennis travels across America for 7 months convincing (mostly) strangers to give her 24 hour access to their life. She documents everything on 35mm film.

Meanwhile, b-roll reveals Ennis’ dream life in New York falling apart. Her husband has checked himself into a psych ward—allegedly. The clairvoyant neighbour claims, “He’s legit voodoo cursed.” Best friends are disappearing one by one. No more job, no work visa, she faces deportation.
